Maker Design Group took our plans and created our dream ADU for our family. All design features of flooring, cabinets, fixtures, and lighting were suggested, then shown to us for approval. They were well-coordinated and enhanced every square inch of the structure. Sam, the president of Maker Design Group, was actively involved in each step of the build, from the reinforcements to the placement of walls, roof, and stairs of a 2-bedroom project. I am pleased to have worked with Maker Design Group. Sam is a master communicator and rapidly answered every question we had. He is a miracle worker. Thank you, MDG. I recommend them highly!

Sam and his team remodeled a Jack and Jill bathroom that my children use. There were pre-existing issues with the piping, which led to the remodel. Sam is very prompt, good at communicating, and incorporated my design ideas into the remodel. He made sure I was happy with everything and was able to correct minor details to my liking. The whole process was very easy, and my family is happy with the results. He also said that if there were any issues in the future, please contact him. Sam from MDG was great to work with regarding our master bathroom remodeling. We were more or less novices when it came to design and materials, and he did a great job consulting with us and making recommendations.
When the time came to do the demo and upgrade work, his guys were always on time and worked efficiently with few interruptions in between. They were also taking care not to cause unnecessary dirt and dust, and protected our light carpet in the bedroom and up the stairs. Throughout the process, Sam kept us up-to-date on who was going to come, when, and for what purpose.
The shower glass guys ran into some snags and had issues with damage to the glass panels, which delayed finishing the project somewhat, but stuff like that happens.
After the install, we noticed the shower was not draining fast enough and had a wet spot where water was pooling on the floor. Sam and the crew came back and spent several hours taking care of that issue for us. I would definitely recommend MDG to others and would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.

MDG provided excellent project execution on a complete remodel of our master bedroom and en suite master bath. I know a thing or two about renovation, having worked with several contractors on a variety of projects over the years. My most important criterion in selecting a contractor is prompt and straightforward communication, with full transparency. Sam Quinta excels in this regard. But what became most appreciated is that Sam and his team work so hard to make sure the client is satisfied. There are always speed bumps in any project. The issue is how they're dealt with. MDG works tirelessly to ensure that the end result is to the client's satisfaction and that the execution is flawless. Sam works to the highest ethical standard. One other note, Sam does a great job of following architect/designer specs and communicating with your design team. The sourcing and timely delivery of materials is a real strength as well. Bravo to Sam and MDG.

MDG helped my wife and me with a large-scale remodel of our living room, den, and a bedroom addition, some of which required extensive engineering and permitting work. Our house was completely transformed, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Sam was very diligent in keeping us informed on the progress and timelines, and was extremely responsive to any questions that came up along the way. Highly recommend!

Working with Sam at MDG was a pleasure. He goes above and beyond to handle the permits, scheduling, and logistics, and he listens and understands the first time. This was my first big house remodel, and dealing with the city was a pain. He handled everything, going out of his way to make multiple trips to make sure our permit gets approved, and the house is done to code. I will use him again for my next project.
